Performing this Sunday Oct 7 + Autostraddle review

Thanks to Malaika at the hugely popular queer blog Autostraddle for her wonderful review today of my book People Who Disappear. You can read the review here.

“Her debut is also a love letter to Western Canada, its small towns, eccentric characters and breathtaking wilderness all at risk of being radically transformed, or even destroyed.”

And this Sunday I’m performing with 陳聽春 listen chen at Access Gallery (222 E Georgia) at 6 PM. We’re presenting work that moves across writing, photography, images and sound. Part of the ongoing programming for the queer issue of Poetry Is Dead. It’s free and we’ll wrap by 7:30. All are welcome. More details here.
